Upon roll call the following aldermen answered present:

The m~.nutes of the previous meeting were read. I~ was moved by Parker and
seconded by~bersv~ller the minutes be approved. 'rhe motion oarr~ed.
~'lderman dodgers gave a report on the deca.sion reached on altering the curb on
the east side of Main street and Fourth .A.venue. He stated that the-west corner
would have to remain as it was, and that only the east one would be altered.
The ~kywatoh building was disQUSSed, but ~h~re was no action at this urns.
The "~1a~er report f'or the 20th of ~'ctober was presented. It ~uas moved by
Williams and seconded by Horning the report be approved. The motion o arri~d.
The Treasurer's report f'or the month of ~otober was presented. It eras moved
by Ebersviller and seQOnded by Leuthold the report be approved. The motion a arried.

carried.

the 19,6 tam.assessments, an sidewalk, and the prompt and kind consideration, was
read. The letter was pla~ad on file.
The c~.~y ~ttonne~ reported to the ~ounckl that the PoliQe department had beer
doing an e xceptionally at'f i~ ient job in Handling the malls and arrests mat they nave
had re4ently, and suggested that they be given credit for their ~reork! I~ ~uas moved
by dodgers and ~ecanded by ~~illiams that the City clerk be instruQted to write
each officer and Qommedn hixn for tha fine job being done. The ffiotion ea~ri.ed.
Mr. Banker gave a rep ort on work at river, and stated 'chat they v~ere doing

Al~errnan Freeburg gave a report on the approximate cost of a pair of lots
that are being advert3.sed for sale.
A request f'or an e xtension phone in t he House at the S. D. Plant was made.

made. The motion carried.
A refund on Gasoline tax in the amount of ~~27.3,~ way presented for approval.
