This being tha time for opening b3.ds f'or Asbestos-~er~ent Pipe, the clerk
of'f'ered proof of publication in the Laurel Outlook, and was instructed to open and

Mr. Gearge cooper appeared before the Council ~n regard taelosir~.g irrig~.tion
ditch on the 'hest side of 8th ~va~ ue, and 1~th Street. He stated that he mould be
will~.ng ~o have the ditch closed, and pay a minimczrn charge on h~.s water, buttha~
he would like to knave his irrigation water free. He also s~at~d that he would be willing to p€~rtieipate in any stet line that the City mi~h~ lair, t~lon~ the north
side of h.~s property, if the Council would assure hire of enough pressure for the
ne~.egsary irrigation. It ~v~s moved by Freeburg and ssQOnded by Parker ghat Mr.
Cooper's bill be a minimum charge for outside the City, and 'that the City ~'urni~h
the proper pressure for irrigation, as he requested. Also, that a contrast be
drawn up with the ~V~~er Committee, with authority to proceed with suQh an agreement. The motion carried.

dog O~dinan ce be made al~.~~ to him. He way given an explanation of the m.eanin~ of
the Section in question.

~rcot~ and seconded b~ Leuthold the report be approved. The motion harried.
The `I're~surer~ s report for the month of February was pregent~d. It vu as moved
by Freeburg and seconded by Parker the report be approved. The ~.otion carried.
'ohs Purchasing committee reported that a Cal.~ulator for the Enginee~~ s off ice could be purchased Por ~6~.0, and that the net price of an add3.ng mamhine for the
