The minutes o~ the list meeting ~e~e read. It way moved by Parker and
seconded by Rodgers the minutes be approved. The mca~ion Qarried.
ORDINANCE NO. 49~1-
~rdinan~e No. ~9~:{.,~ being; a Dog Ordina~Qe, was presentad and ~e~d. It was
moved by ~ber~v3.ller and seconded by Rodgers that Ordinar~.oe No. 1~9~ be p~.~sed
sub~eat to approval b;~ the ~%i~~ Attorney. A group r~pre~~ntin~ the Dog Owners and
members of the ~~ome~n's Club were present, and a,~prov~d the Ordinance as read. .~-t
Upon roll Qall all aldermen present voted "aye'¢ and said Ordin~.ne~ v~a~ deolared
passed and approved.

A letter from l~~rs. J. I~2. Garrison, requesting permission for an additional
water tap on the I~u.ttin~ ~~at~r Line, south of town ~a~ ''read. 'the let der eras turned
over to the 1t~ater Committee and the Water Comm~s~~.oner for action.
A 1~ tter f'rorn St. Anthony Churoh in regard ~o Cx~rba~e taxes on Church
property ~uas read. The matter ~u~s tabled until the newt re~ul.ar meeting.
A letter from ~nhn Monahan, offering 7 lots on East let Street, to the Ci~~,
at a cost o~ 21,500.00, ~ueh land i~o ~e used for a Parking lot, was read. It was
moved by F'reebury and saaonded by ~bersvill~r the l~t~ar be taY~led. The motion
carried.
The H~~,~;th Officerts report way ~reser~ted for approval. Tt was moved by Rodgers and s~esonded b~ Horning the report be approved. The motion serried.

letter was referred to the City engineer.
The Library report Por the month ~f ~'~ebr~zary was presented. It eras moved bar

The PoliQe Judge's report far the month of F~bruary was presented. Tt ~uas

PoliQe Light service, and Fire Seen, vas presented. I~ was moved by Scott and
seQOnded by Rodgers the Mayor be authorized to sign ~h.c; r e-r~.e~als. The motion Qarried.
Tt vas moved by Parker and seconded by ~illi~rns that no ehar~es be made f'or
any building on Church property, but that ~h~ Building; permits be obta3.ned in t ha
regular manner. The motion darri~d,
There was a general disouss3.on on putting telephones in Police ear. A
suggestion that the party calling; the Police Qould have a charge ca11 to h3.s o~un
telephone, to keep d4~un the cost,. areas made.
It uu~,s suggested that some guards be put up Tong the south side of Moran' ~
parking lot, to prevent t~ cars frca~ driving over the sidewalk by the Past 4ffic~.
,Alderman ~eu~hold reported that he had complaints that the driveways i~. the
Morris ~ubdi.vi~ion uvere muddy, ~.nd suggested th~~ the pa~rcl might grade €~long
she streets. He was inf ozm.ed that the Yat;rol had already graded along tha ~tr~et~.
It was also suggested ~ha~ a ~pec3.al Improvement Dis~ri~t for curbs ~r~ad ~ut~er~
in the Dorris Subdivision be planned.

riorning, Parker and r~bersniller, a~point~d by the ~~ayor ~~o cheek on 'the iznpounda.n~
of dogs, be approved, and a repori~ brought back to the ~ounei 1. The rno~ion Qarried.
At this time, the Mayc?r personally gave thari~s ~o the co~mi~tee appointed
to negotiate resolution with the City ~m~loye~es and also to the omr~itt~e that had
worked on the Dog Ordinance.
It was moved bar Fr~ebury and seconded by ~ao~t ghat the bill. o~ Black and
Veatch be approved. The motion carried.

o~ ~la~k ~c Veateh, and the City ~x~gineer, in r e~;ard to Cop & F1y~n changes on Intakm
be approved. The motion carr3.ed.

to be held in Livingston in .~'pril. The motion carried.
