The people mho li~v~e on Trace Lane ire intending to put in Hydrants, aid aa~e
going to ask for sr~e sort of an a~reemen~ sc that they can get Fire protection. Iie wss
s~ge'~ted that after the hydrants are installed, ~~e City ~it~or~ey and the Fire Depart-
went be contacted for an agreement.

A lettcsr was read from Mr. Alen Belvn regarding the sixteen lots that the
City hsa for sale.

like to have a prime quoted. It ~a~s suggested that Mr. Me~e].lo get a bid from this

Thy Garbage Situation was diseu~sed. ~t was s~.ggested that the Garbage Caen
make a list o~ thaw p~rsens ~wY~o do not have the re~u7.atio~ Q~arbage can~c so that they
can be prosecuted if necessary. It was also suggested that the 9].der~n~n i~ each ward
make a check.
Several eompl~i.~ts on the ~a~;sit~atiQn were reviewed. Aqr. Rodgers recommended
that the era~ir~eear~s office gie~ anyp and all assistance ~fl the City Treasurer, with the
idea of getting the taxes listed eorrec~ly~ aid th~.li~~ made on t3~ne. It Brae also
~ngg~sted that the work be checked for the possibility of errors.
Mr. Parr reported t~iat he had had sc~~ eorrespo~denc~ r~g~rding a United
Na~iox~s.Day~ to be set aside as October 2t~a 195?. He $tatsd that h~ had appointed Mr. A. B. Packard a~ cha3.xman of that c~nitte~, to rec:~3ve all corr~ffipondenc~ and lit-
~ratur~ on thi$ subject. Also this possibilitg that he would ham Melp f'ro~n the Lavr~l
