Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
July 25, 1957
A Special meeting of the G~.tjr Council of the City of Laurel,
Montana, was held in the Couno~.l chambers, and was opened by Mayor
Parker at 7:30 P.M., on Tuesdays ~'uly 25s 1957•
This being the time and place to fix a preliminary budget, and
fix a preliminary mill levy, i~t was moved by Fresbury and seconded by
Ebersvi.lle~ that the following m~.ll levy be set temporarily, and the budget
placed on file in the ~~ty Clerkts of~'ice for examination.

Motion Carried.
The Cost o~ storage supplies for the storing of the City+a
records was discussed. It was decided that one-third of the cost of such
supplies be paid from the VUa~er Fund, and two-thirds paid from the General Find.
City Clerk was instructed to mike up Resolution No. 1001 trans-
f'erring ~1~,111.00 from Park Fund to Swim Pool Fund.
It was brought to the a'tt~ntion of the council that some one
w~.s turning on the water at the Park end flooding the neighborhood. It was moved by Rodgers and seconded by Ebersviller that we ~.nstall a l~.ght
in the Park. Motion Carried.
It ryas moved by Leuthold and seoanded by Ebersviller that the
pity ~%lerk be authorized to aall ~.n a State Examiner. Motion Carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was ad journed.
