147r. Banker gave a report on the progreas at the River. He stated that the
elec~rioal work was all that was holding up the ¢mpletion of the work, and that all
should be ~.inished by January 15th.
The. Nlayor reported that the dyke on the south side of the river, and east of the brider, had been ra~.sed two feet.
The ~~.g~neer repori~ed that he had been going over the work done in S.I.D. 80,
and would like to have; a Qommittee go over the work that ha.s to be re-done by
O'Leary. The Mayor appointed the Following aldermen on the committee: Parker
First Ward; Freeburg, Second Ward; Williams 'T'hird Ward and horning for the ~~ourth
?~~ard.
The trees that will have to be removed were to be oheeked by the same
committee also. The Engineer was instructed to notify property ovnners ghat work
should commence on the s idewalks about April 3Qth, and all trees would have to be
remo~'ed by ghat time.
It was moved and sedonded vue do now adjourn. `the motion Qarried.
