T i Minutes of the City Council of Laurel Mr. Rathbun main reported on the policy in previous years as to hiring a school teacher ~'or swimmer help at the water plant. He Mated that Mr. Loyd Berry, a dormer ~nploye~e, had been hired. for this job, but that I'~r. ferry had sine had a chance to go to work on a permanent basis for the ~tat~ Highway I~epar~Gment. After same discussions it was decided that one of the p~rson$ who had applied to the City for temporary work be considered for this job. Beslanwitch mentioned that the police are complaining about their light. Tt was suggested that ~h~ polio committee investigate. One b3.d was received from Laird Radio Electric.
