Jim Fli-srand , A quorum (3 om mome) pmesent She following action was taken by the committee: : · sharon Herman John Minch Cemetery Board met at the cemetery to discuss the planting ~f new trees. The following recommendations were made: Sec~ K - One tree can be planted in the southeast corner and one in the northeast corner. Sec. B - Since some trees have already been planted on the south edge, it was decided to stay in line with these trees and start the burials 7 ft. from the 'curb. Trees will also be allowed on the north edge with burials being 8 ft. from the curb, Sec.' G - The 'first row in this section is not big enough for adult graves, and is to be used 'for baby.graves · and cremations. I.t was'decided to plant trees in the southeast and northeast corners of this row. The City Engineer will measure and deterlnine the best possible location for all trees. The rodent problem at the cemetery was also discussed. The caretaker stated that gopher pellets have been placed in the holes but do not seem to be doing any good. They are making holes in the cemetery that could be dangerous if someone were to step in them. Several other methOds of control were discussed but-nothing decided at this time. The County Extension Office the Fish & .Wildlife, Animal Damage Control, and the Yellowstone County Animal Control Office have all been contacted.
