A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of I,a.urel~ Montana
was held in the Council Chambers, and was called to order by Mayor J. J. Parker at 7:3~ o'clock P.I., on Mondays August l~, 1959.
Upon X011 call, the follov~ing aldermen answered present:
J.E.Freeb~ry Jake Muff Alex Henry Cecil Dave Herman Frank
This meeting was called for the purpose o~ f~_nal:ly adopting; the mill levy
for the coming fiscal year. Motion was made bar Ruff and seconded by Freeburg that the
~ina1. budget be set at I~7 mills, with an eastra one-half mill to be put on the Cemetery.
Motion carried.
Resolutions numbered 3.ZQ~. through 1125 inclusive were read singly. Mation
was made by Freeburg and seconded by Ruff that all these resolutions be adopted and
passed as a whole. Upon taking roll call vote, all aldermen present answered ~~Aye't,
anal said tax resolutions w~;re declared passed and adopted. ~
There being no further business to come before the Council at this time, motion was duly made and seconded that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.
