J. Parker, at 7:30 otcloek, P.M.,, on Tuesday, June 23,, 1959. Upon roll call the following aldermen answered present: J.E.Freebury Jake Ruff John Beslanwitch Alex Henry Henry Kais~;r Herman K. Frank 'Phis meeting was called specifically for the purpose of approving dune claims for payment, passing certain Resolution of transfer of funds and approving license applications. Moti€~n was made by Ruff and seconded by Kaiser that this resolution be approv~sd. Upon taking roll call vot~~ all aldermen present answered "Ayet'~ and said resolution way declared passed and adopted. Application for Retail beer license from Thriftway Grocery, with check in the amount of ~15~,00 attached was presented. Motion was made by Ruff' anal seconded by Henry that this license be approved. Motion carried. Appl~ca~ion for Beer and liquor license from the Fraternal Order of Eagles with fee in the amount o~ ~3f~0.00 ~tttaehed way presented. Motion was made by Ruff and seconded by Henry that this license be approved. Motion carried. Applicat3.on for beer license for Tubman~s Grocery with fee in the amount of ~150.OQ attached was pr~sent~d. Motion way made by fluff and seconded by Beslanwi that phis license be approved. Motion carr3.ed. Applicat3.on for beer license for Franks Grocery with fee in the amount of ~15~.00 attached was presented. Motion was made by Ruff and seconded by Beslanwitch that the license be approved. Motion carried. There being no f~.irther business to be discussed at this Special. me~ting~ motion was duly made and seconded that the meeting be adjourned until June 30, 19. 9, whin special meeting wi11 be called for the purpose of opena.ng bids on water pipe, hydrants, and valves.
