February 3, 1959 A regular meeting of the esty council of the City of Laurel' Montanan was held in the Council Chambers and was called to order by Mayor J. J. Parlor at 7s30 oiclock~ P.M..~ on ~'uesday~ February 3~ 1959. The meeting was opened with a prayer by the Reverend Bartz of the Nazarene Chu~eh. Upon poll call the following aldermen answered present: Ira D. Rodgers E. H. 'fbersviller A. E. Leuthold Jake Ruff Roy Horning John Beslanwiteh J.E.Freebury Walt Menello The minutes of the previous mP~ting of January 20~ 1959, were read. Motion was made by Ebersviller and seconded by Menello that the minutes be approved as read, with the exception of changing the name of Leuthold to Rathbun on the minutes. Motion carried. Eight students from the grade school were present, and were ea11~d upon to introduce'themselve5. Mayor Parker then introduced the members of the Go~uncil to them. Five high school. students were present, and were cal~>d upon to introduce themselves. This being the time and p7.aee specified for the opening of the bids on a truck ti for the water department, Mayor Parker called on the.
