Upon roll call the follow-in~ aldermen answered present: J. ?~reebury Henry Kaiser Herman K. ~~rank John Beslanwitch Steve Ttomee Jake Ruff Cecil Nave The minutes of the previous regular meeting of July 19~h tiaere read. Motion ;.aas mace by Beslanwitch anc' seconded by ~omee that the minutes be approved as read. Potion carried. "~inutes of the special meeting; o.~ July 20th were read. He asked that the council consider an offer-for she airport, anc3 that it go back of private ownership. It vas the o~~_nion of most of the City Council tha-~ yh~ airport remain. under the jurisriction of the Citiy. `deport of the Health officer, Library ~~eport, Clerk's Tr~..al Balance, Cash r~r~ort, reports of the patrolmen, and report of the Police Judge were presentees'. Farker reported on this and also Dick Throm. Par};er reported mant,r complaints on the uarba e Situation, after discussion, Jake Fluff and Jack Parker are to talk to Sam about this situation. A litter was read from tl~e State ]3oarc~ of health re~ardinb our chances for ~~tting our Federal. Grant-in-aid mon~tT ror the sewage disposal plant. Freebury stated th~~t if we have a successful bond election for the entire amount-needed for the 'treatment T'1ani;, that; he would 7.ike to o on record as refusing; to sell the bonds if the A'~edex~al Ga~ant is not available.
