J. Parker at 7:30 o'clock~P.?!?., on ?.~Tednesda~T, Ju3y 20, 1960. Upon roll call the following alder^nen. answered present: Jake Ruff John Feslan~ritch Alex Henry Henry Kaiser Cecil '~?ave Steve Romee Herman K. Seconded by Kaiser. Mayor ?'arker asked for a roll call vote, hThich is on record as fall.ows: Ruff, Yes; B~slanwi.tch, Yep; Kaiser, Yes; ~~ave, 170; Franks Rio; Romee, noj Henrv, PTO. The amount in question was the one-half mill for the airport. This motion was defeated, and there was much heated discussion of the matter of the airport. Beslanw ~f~~ch then rescinded his motion, Kamer rescinc~ea his second to the defe~t~d m~~~_on. ~~otion was then made by Steve ?~omee that the ~iu.d.ge{~ aomms.ttees recommendation to the ~areliminar~ ~iud~et as a whole be accepted. Motion was carried this time, with Henry tiro ~ inp; P?o. Frank, Beslanwitch, and Mayor Parker wanted to ~o on record as comm.endinm the budget catnmittee and the City Clerk, for food detailed. reports and facts and figures of the budget as a whale.
