A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel,Ninntana, was
held in the Council Chambers on Wednesday, August g at 7:30 o'clock, P.M. The
meeting was call to order by Jake,Ifizff, President of the Council in the absence cf
the Niayor who was out of town due to a death in the family, and with. an quorum
including Jake Ruff.
Upon roll call, the following aldermen answered present:
Jake Ruff Harold Wilson Roy Edwards Henry Kaiser G.L.Gass
The purpose of this meeting was to hear any and all protests to i;he proposed
budget of the City ~f Zaurel, for the fiscal. year 1961-1962. After a reasonable time,
na persons appearing to protest the proposed budget, mctian was duly made by Roy Edwards , and seconded. by Gerald Z. Gass that the meeting be adjourned until the next
special meeting to be held. on August l~, 1961, tc pass the 1~udget in the final form.
