A special meeting of the G'it~ Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
was held in the CQUnci1 ~:1~amber~ and was called -~o order by Mayor John Besl~.nwitch
at •?s3t3 o'clock, P.M., on Thursday, July 2(~, 1961.
Upon roll call the following B.IC~E:I'1~@A answered present s
Jake Ruff Sieve Romee Cecil Navy K~nry Kaiser G. L. Gass Roy Edwards Harold Wilson Kenneth Olson
This is a required special meeting for the purpose of going over the
proposed budget for-each department, and arriving at a tentative mill levy. After
a discussion of several hours, motion was made by Olson, and seconded by Kaiser
that the mill levy b~ tentatively set at ~.7 mills, subject to change on or before July 2~, i961. Motion carried.
Where being no business to come before the eourieil at this times motion
was duly made and seconded that the meting be adjourned until ~'uesday, July 25~
1961 at 7z3~ o'clock, P.M. Motion carried.
