The committee:
Discussion regarding Selling the old bobcat from the Cemetery. Motion was made
by Lloyd Shay and seconded by Lee Barndt to advertise to sell the bobcat.aad.
that the money be used to help repay the loan from Cemetery Perpetual care.
Motion carried.
Ernle presented a proposal from Madsen Door Service to remodel the end wall of
the cemetery shop and to install a 10 x 10 rolllng steel door at a cost of $1,250.00.
He stated that a sliding door would cost about the same amount. Motion by Llo~
Shayto recon~end the installation of the rolling steel door. Seconded by Lee
Barndt. Motion carried. (The new ~oor is needed so that the new backhoe can be
stored in the shop)
Ernie presented a proposal from Kalwell Service for the installation of a well at
the cemetery at a total cost of $5,571.28. No recommendation at this time.
Ernie also presented a proposal for a walking sprinkler that could be shared with
the parks. The sprinkler cost is $4,750.00. The committee would like to see how
this works first and see if it would go over the tops of the headstones. This item
put on hold until a demonstration can be done.
Discussion regarding the Caretaker position at the cemetery. The committee would like
to recommend that we try using temporary help for irrigating and mowing and use present
permanent employees for digging the graves.
Discussion regarding disinterments. Lee Barndt stated that we are going to have a
disinterment sometime within the next month. These people were quoted a price of
$200.00 for disinterment.} After discussion, the committee would like to recommend
charging $200.00 for this disinterment since this is the price they were quoted but
that future disinterments be $250.00.
Lloyd Shay reported that he has talked to Beartooth Enterprise regarding the land
to the north of the cemetery shop. Ne was told that the Airport is already thinking
about buying this section of ground.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:45 P.M.
