Upon roll call, the following alderra~n ans~rer~d present. Steve Romee Jake Rutf Roy Ecixards Harold Wilson Gerald L. Gass Heru~y Kaiser Cecil E. Nave The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read. Motion wa€~ made by Kaiser aid seconded by Romee that the minutES be approved as read. Motion carried. The minuted of the previous special meeting of May 23rd were read. Motion was Made by Rom~;e and seconded by Nave that the minutes be approved as read. ~Zotion carried. Alex Qogel, Dick Metzger, De~rey Nunn and Chet Herbert, employes of the City appeared before the council to ask that the council consider a substantial raise for the employees in the City~s 1961-1962 budget. The Mayor sugg~:sted that this matter be turned over to the Finance committee to Meet with the men. At the ti.~~e, Roy ~aW~as being the only mEmb~r of the finances eonuni~t~e present, called a meeting with this co~nittee for 7:3~ o'clock P.Ni., on Friday, Jane 16th 1961.. Application for Beer and Liquor License, for the $oard of Trade Bar, signed by Bob Lattir~er, owner, with ~3~0.0~ cash attached, eras presented. lotion was made by Kaiser and seconded by Nave that phis license application be ~.pproved. Moti.o~ carried. Application for Retail Beer lieen5e, for ~hriftway, signed by Qliver ~Toid, owner, with check in the amount og ~15~.~f? attached was presented. Motion was made by Nave and ~eeonded by Kaiser that this application be ~.pproved. Motion carried. I way injured on the 27th day of March, 1961, by reason of Slipping on the aceum~a].ated dirt which was particularly slippery beacause it had rained just before. After much discussion on this matters the situation eras referred to the dater committee. Certain matters pertaining to the Cemetery were discussed. Motion eras made by Ruff ar~d seconded by Gass that an ordinance be drawn up raising the cost of C~metary lots by 15.t~~ each. Motion carried.
