A sp~;cial meting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, l~on~ana~ was
held in the Council Charr~ber~ and was called to order by President of the council,
Jake Ruff, at 7:3~' o`clock,, P.I., on Tuesday, ~a~ 23, 1961.
The follcr~ing aldermen answered present;

The plarposs of the meetin~~ and the season for its being called was to apes the bids on the Insect Sprayer, and bids for gravel and a5pha3.t. This being
the t3.me and the place for opening these bids, President Ruff called on the pity
~1.erk to open the bids on the insect sprayer in the order of their a~apearance. Bids
were opened as follows:

as specifica~:ions for the 51 Rotomist pan b~, found on Pages
4 ana 5 of the enclosed catalog entitled t~Iosquito ~'rontrol and
Sanitation Spra~er~~. This unit is equipped with a pump having
a capacity of 15 G.P.M. at 15~? P.S.I. and has a 75 gallon steel
tank which is completely lined on the interior w~.th a Bean Bond plast~e material. ~'he blower section o~ the unit contains
a 21" axial flow fan and discharges 12,OQ0 cu.ft. of air per
minute .
Mile the Model 51 Rotomist is not equipped fog handling chemical
dust applications it can be equipped for the application of
granular ch~nicals.

After discussion, motion was made by Kaiser anc~ seconded by Ql~on that the
bid o~ the Pacific ~ssoeiates be accepted, a5 the other bid did not meet with the
advertised specifications. Motion carried.
This then being the time and place for the opening of the bids on thy:
gravel, and other street materials, President Ruff called on the pity clerk to open
the bids in the order of their appearance. Bids received for gravel as follows:

At this tame President Ruff declared a fifteen minute recess to eo~sider all these street material. bids. Upon re-convening the meetings emotion was first made by ~siser
and seconded by ~a~s that the gravel contract b~ a~aas~ded to the Krug Broth~;rs as lc>w
bidder. Motion carried.
