A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE FINAL BUDGET
FOR THE CITY OF LAUREL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, has prepared a budget for
the fiscal year 2022-2023, and has given notice permitting all taxpayers to appear and be heard
for or against any part of said budget, as is provided under Title 7, Chapter 6, Part 40, Montana
Code Annotated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Laurel,
Montana, as follows:
1) That the final budget of the City of Laurel, Montana, for the fiscal year 2022-
2023 is hereby approved and adopted effective July 1, 2022, as set forth in the
final budget document attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof.
2) That a copy of said budget be inserted in the official minutes of the City Council
for the Special City Council meeting on September 6, 2022.
3) That the City Clerk shall provide a copy of said budget to the Department of
Commerce, Division of Local Government Services for the State of Montana.
Introduced at a special meeting of the Laurel City Council on September 6, 2022, by
Council Member Sparks.
PASSED and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Laurel this 6' day of
September 2022.
APPROVED by the Mayor this 6`h day of September 2022.
