There was discussion regarding locking the gates at the cemetery. Bob Smith has
been locking the gates but he can no longer do it. It was.decided to leave the'
gates unlocked through the winter on a trial basis.
There was a request from a Joyce Hill to plant some trees in St. Anthonys Cemetery.
Permission was granted as long as she plants in the designated area and plants blue
spruce trees or evergreen trees.
Complaint was received from Maynard Segmiller regardiug a tree that he had planted.
He is claiming that the tree was run over by the lawn mower. It was stated that
the city is not liable for damage to trees and once a tree is planted it becomes
the property of the City and will not receive any special care.
Report regarding flower pots being stolen.
Discussion regarding the number of creamations that should be allowed in one lot.
After discussion it was decided to allow only two creamations per lot.
Discussion regarding putting in a well at the cemetery. The committee will check
into this further before budget time next year..
It was suggested looking into repairing or replacing some of the curb and gutter.
The committee recommsnds replacing one section each year until the entire cemetery
is done.
