The Mayor recessed t~h~ meeting for fifteen minutes. Aft~*r re-oonven3ng the meeting, Chairman Gerald Qass ~aad~1tth~ recommendation that tY~~ bid of the B.Z.F. Industri~~ be ace~pt~d. Motion was made by Ruff aid s~cond~d by Kaiss~r that this application be placid on File for further sttizdy. Motion carried. Z~tter of resignation s~.gned by I,~ann~ Hixschfelt was read. Motican was du1~ made and ~ecand~d that the resignation be accepted. Motion carried. After ciigcug~ion about a replacem~snt;!in the office, it way decided to plaa~ an advertisement in-the paper, and to offer a starting wage of $225.0 per month. Motion made to this effect by Ruff and seconded by Nave. Motion Ferried. Zetter was read from the Montana Recreation Conference. Motion was ~ad~ by Ruff and s~eonded by Kai~~r that the l~tt~r b~ placed on fi~.e. Motion carried. Cam ~a1~e~rt was galled upon to introduce his companion at t~~ Ca~.un.cil, whom he introcfi.ced a~ a Mrs. Wills. The City Engineer reported on this. H~ stated that he would look over the aria and estimate the cost o~ moving out ~;ev~ral. inches ' of dirt and pt~ttin~ its pat run and crushed gravel. Jack Frazee appeared before the emzneil to report that h~ had a leak in his water line, ~xid wanted an adju~t~ent on his taster bill.. Motion carried. The Cit~r Eng3.ne~r reported that the water ~ip~ would be in w th~.n a few days, and there was d3.seus~ion of where this pipe could b~ stored. phis matter r~f~rred t~o the water committee and the pity engineer. Ruff brought up several sug~e~tesd changes in Ordinance 5,~7. He stated that the City Attorney had ~tat~d that ~r~ could again license insurance agents. 5~et3.on 3.~ regarding the Mayor's salary to be fixed. fluff reported on the valve on Eighth Avenue and Main Street. Them; being no further b~a.siness to come b~fo~e the Cty Crnzncil at this time motion was duly made and seeond~d that the xne~t3:n~ b~ aeljourn~d to the Fire~~:n~~ room where a gift would be pr~~ented to our resigning City Engineer.
