M. on Tuesday, n~cember 17~ 1963. Upon taking roll call, the following aldermen answered present. Jacob Ruff E. H. Ebersviller, Sr. Roy Edwards Gerald Gass Kenneth OTson Wiliam J. Palm Cecil Nave Ed Leuthold Thy mirnztes of the previous meting were read. Motion was males by Eb- ~rsviller and seconded bg Olson that the minute, be approved. RE~OLUTIQN N0. 12 .7, BEINQ~ A RESOLUTTDN TRANSFERft2NG CERTAIN FUNDS OF THE CITI~ OF LAIIRF~, MONTANA. Motion way made by Ruff and seconded by Olson. that this Resolution be approved. Upon taking roll call votes all ald~rm~n present voted rr~,~rr ~d said resolution wag declared passed aril .adopted. Request from the Cove Ditch Company for the use of the Council ~(;h~nbers for the afternaon of Januaxy 21st was presented. Motion was made by Eber~viller IW, and seconded by Leuthold that this request b~ granted. Motion carried. After discussion motion was made by Olson and seconded by Palm that tl~i$ r~~uid be granted. Motimn carried. Zet~thold reported on the truck at tie Whine Motors in Billings„ City Engineer reported on this also. Nave mentioned complaints that Schessler was not using ~h€~ correct rout with their heavy trucks. C11son asked that duri~ig the Christmas seasons there be or,]_y tin m3.nu~~ parking signs on the south side of Main Strut from the underpass east about five car-lengths. Motion was mace by Ruff and ~eaeand~d by Ebersvill~r that these signs b~ ~la.ceci. Motion carri~;d. ~~.~i"~~;~tated that the City usually renters a-bull dozer for the purpose of pushing the garbage back. He. also Mated that trhe Ci:ty.Ln~3.neer owned such a machine, and st~gest~d that h~ get together with the ~a~bage committee to decide on a fair rental for this maehine~ and that it b~ rented foam him in the t`ut~zr~. Claim from Modern Chevrolet for ear rental. for 5~. days was questioned, and Ruff recommended that_ the Mayor. refer .this to the Pplice ~c>mm3.t~ee. ~ihere- upon this. claim Was referred to the. Po7.ic~ committee. Certa~.n reports were presented £or approval as follow ; Treasur~:r~~ l,,,v,:~~ Report, Clerk ~ s Cash Report, Treasurer's Financial Report and pity ~l.erl~'s ~rx~.l Balance. Motien was made and seconded that these reports be ~:pproved. Motion carr3.ed. It was mentioned that he was paying the City ~10.C~0 per month ~Eor'house rent and that possibly this could b~ di~eontinu~d instead. After discussion motion eras made by Ebersv ].1er and s~- conded by Palm that the rent be d3.seont3.r~ued and to pay the relief man at the rate of an extra !t0¢ per day for the wse of leis ear..,.Motion carried, There being no fc~.r~her business ts~ come before the Conne3.1 ~,t this tiny ~ motion way duly made and s~cond~d that the meeting be ~djourn~sd.
