Motien carried. It was reported that the Mo~ta~~, M~n3.c~pa1 Leagt~ meeting in Bi113n,~s would be aept~mber 26th 7th and 28th. Thy Mayor ~t~~¢d that ~t~f~ should attend arid. that he wmuld like to s~t~~nd~ alto. Motion way made by Ebersv3.Zler sad seconded by I,eutY~vZc~ that the Mayor ar~d Ruff should be ~ii~~a to ~~t~~.. MotiAA carried. The City Clerk -fie find out if the Alderni~n could ~o ~o t~~ meetings w3.tho~.t paying the 1~.Q0 regi~tr~tio~ fey. The Mayor introduced John ~T. Dale~r~ the near City Engit~~er. Rom Ben~aen~ the pr~s~z~t City Engi~e~r~ sta~ecl that he Qo~.l.d ex~e~r~cl hiss resignation date October 8~h, so that he could bey able to take his vacatimn. Motion carried. Ebersviller asked that the City Engineer ~tak~ out that portion of the North Park which is in the City Limits. The Mayer asked the park committee to con~~ct the County Commissioners, and a.~k-:for prcxr~ised help in developing this park. Ebersviller introduced suggestions that the City consider purchasing a new broom for the sweeper. Ruff m~.de a report on the time spent usir~; thy; sweeper. Ebersviller reported on the meting held with the park ~omQnitt~e and J. J. Parker rega~ciing needed repairs at the swimming pool, and recommended. that these be made before time for the pool to open. Motion Way made by Olson and ~~secsnd~d by Palm that these repaixs be made. Motion carried. Nave reported on suggested changes 3n the g~.rbage pick up -the third man way discus~~d - and a no-burnir~ rile discussed. After lerg;thy d3.~cussion, this ma~tep way ~~rn~d b~.ck to committee for further studyy_and a more dePini~e recommerula~ion. Ruff introduced the sub3~et of the pier at the water plant. After discussion, City Engineer way instr~.eted to contact Flynn and try to drag up sp~cificatians~ to open the bids at the next meeting. There being no:.:further business to cam before the Couneil~ motion was duly made and seconded that the meting be 3ourn~d.
