City Attr,~r~ey presid~ at this meeting.
Bradley called an John Lackman ~~ho was acting secr~t~.ry ~t the meting
h~'Lc~ byr ~h~ Zoning Board, in the absence of Neil Baker. The committee against
this building asked the 3oarct for its masons in making the decision to allaw the
variance. Laclanan stated. that it was h3~ understanding that ~h~ Zonfng Board. was

3. After the April 23rd meting Faith the public,, the Board gave c~;eryonc a chancy to s~~ak.
Rrr. P. A. Johnston was called upon and he stated that his mason for voting for the
va.rianc~ was that the lots are o#' nc~ v~,7.ue the way they ~,r~, and he was looking
for tax revenue for the City.
Mr. Heebner stated that as this zone is already pa~rtia? ly coirun~rcia~~ he

The members of the Council wire asked their opinions. Each t~~d. samethin~
to say. The Zoning Board asked for a shart rec~:ss to meet with the City Attorney ~d
