Council, J~eob Ruff, at 7:3~, m~clock, P. M., ors W~dr~esd~,y, February 2t3~ 1963.
Upon taking ro11. call, the following aldermen answered presents
Jacob fluff S~ev~ Romee Gerald L. Gasp Kenneth ~l~on
Roy Edwards f~eil Nave Henrg Ka~~er Harold Wilson
This meeting has called for thea p~rpo~~ of introducibg Tom Dal~~
representative of Kal~~n end ~mpa~y Minneape~lia, Minnesota, rho appeared b~for~
the Cosancil to explain ~ Bill p~ss~d by the Legi~l~ttu~~ which would permit Cities to sell refunding bond~~ and possibly save the City some money in interest.
K han and ~crr~p~,ny could h~.ndle phis matter at a cost o~ ~10.Q~ per bond sold.
After discu~~ion of this r~atter~ it ws~ the opinion of the Council
that as Long as we aan sot p3.ek up oar bands until 1966' it would be better t4
iMVestigate furthers and not ~o into it at this time.
2h~re being no further b~.sines~ ~o come before the Couneial at this
~im~, motion way duly made and seconded that the meeting be ad3our~ed. Motion
carried.
