M., on Tuesday,, December 1~~ 19bl~.. Upon taking roll call, the foll.owin~ aldermen answered presents Cecil Navy E. H. Ebersviller,, 5r. Kenneth 01sor~ Roy Edwards William J. Palm Ed Leuthold The minutes of the pr~vio~~ mee~~i~g wire regd. Motion was made by Ol- ~on and seconded by Leuthold that the mi~iutes be approved as read. Motion c~- riesd. City Clerk read a request f`x~om the Cove Duch Comp, in which this group asked permission to use th~? Co~.ricil Chambers on the afternoon of Jm~nuary 19, 1965. Motion was ma~l.e by Ebersviller ar~d ~~conded by Nave that this p~rmis- sion be granted. Motican carried. Certain reports for the month of November wire presented fog appro~ral as fmllc~wss City 'Treaaur~r~s reports, City Clerk~~ Trial Balanee~ and Cash Bal- aric~. Motion was made by Ol.sor~ and seconded by Eb~raviller ghat theee reports be approved. Motion carried. City Clerk reported o~ the Riff Club,Instu~ance premiums that had begin paid in full on July 2, 1963, bud the receipt had not begin raail~d. It was the decision of the Council that the City Clerk writ: a Z~tter of apology for the er- ror that was made. The Mayor s~atEd that since the Governor h~,d proelaim~d December 2lttM as a Holiday for Stag, County a~.nd City offices, h~ would like to hang the ap- proval of the Council to give the men of the crew the extra day ~.].so. ~'he Poi3.e~ and Water Plant personnel who have to work this day are to be given a compensatory c3ay off. Mot3.on was made by Ebersviller and ~e~pnded by Edwards that this be allowed. Motion carried. Thy four proposed bills to b~ presented by the Montane. Mur~.i.eipal Lea- gue to the next State Legislative session were r~±ac~. After discussion motion way made by Navy and seconded by Palm that the City Council ~o on record as be- i ing in favor of these four bills. Motion carried. Eber~viller reported th a~ the c0mmitte~ is not yet ready to make a definite recommendation to the City Council regarding oar Health ~f~ic~r aitua- tion. Further ~~udy ne~d~d. Daley reported on the slush ice problem. Leuthold conlplim~nted the C3.ty Crew on the i~r?provements to the new barn. Palm again asked. what had been dorve about many people driv.n~ over the curb on the south side of the main Y~ighway through town. After discussion, the City Attorney was instructed to writes a 1ett~r to the N. P. informing the com- pany of the damage to the curbing. Motion to this e.~f~et Facie by Olson and seconded by Edwards. Motion carried. City Er~ineer reporte8 on receiving a telephone call regarding the Sewerking ~rhieh the City has for sale. He ~tat~d that he quoted a pries of $800.Q0~ F.O.B. Laurel. Th~r~ being no furth~~ business to come before the Council ~.t this tithe, motion ~aa~ d~.ly r~ad~ ~nci. seconded that the meting be adjotaz•n~;ci.
