A special Meeting r~qu3red by law of the City Cou~acil of the City of
T~a~zrel~ Montana, was h~1d ie~ the Water Office, and called to Order by President
o~ the Council, Jacab Ru~"f~ ~t 7:00 O'clocks P. M.~ on Monday, d~l.y 20~ 196lt..
Upon taking r411 calls the follawir~ aa~:l..der~?en ans~rered present:

G. L. Gass Wi3liam J. Palm Eddie Leuthold Roy Edwards
TYs~ meeting is called according to law to ~entratie~ly pass the pr~slim-
inary budget for tY~e City of Laurel. Montana, for the fiscal yesar I96~i-196,x.
Representatives of the Laurel Municipal Airport appe~r~d befr~r~ the
Council to make: their request for a levy, and to r~eeive approval on their bud-
get .
Motion was dul.~r made and seeond.ed that the City Clerk prepare R~so1u- tion No. 1262, which Re~olutian would allow a loan.from the Trisect Control Find
t~ the Firs Department. This spun is r~ed~c3 to pay tie claim for the new Fire
Truck, and is drawn With the speci~ie stipaalaticn that this money ie t€~ be re-
paid a.~ quickly as possible from the tars reeeived~ in December, 196Et, and J ~
1965. Amount - ~6,15b.C~A. C
Tt was also moved by Olson am secorr;3.ed by Eb~r~viller that in the
future the Fare Department assume only 1/!t of ~h.~ cost of the radio opersa~ors,
instead of 1/2, and the Police D~partm~nt as~vme 3/fit of tMe eos~, in~~eacl o~
L/~. Motion carried.
After discu~~ion, motion was made by Ebersviller, and seconded by Olson that the i96l~-196, budget be tent~tiv~lg appa°oved, and the mild. levy t~n-
