would like to have the Civil Defence Committee and the purchasing ao~mittee

Mrs. ~oh~ K~ll~y appeared before the Council ~o inq~ir~ why her water bill is so high, `The M~.yor asked the water committee to make a study of this,
and make a report back to the Council.
The in5uranc~ eommi~tee was asked for a report on o~.r ins~.ranec~. ~b-
ersviller stated that ~Ghe committee was not toa pl~~.s~d with the r~sult~ sa far
and that the commi~tee~s r~com~end~.tior~ was that the pity adv~rtis~ for b3d~ to
gee whether or not the pity can do bitter. Palm reported on thi~~ also. Motion way made by Nave and seconded by Qlson that the council accept the rc~co elciation
of tie eommi.~t~~. Motion carried. This advertisement to i.nclud~s only the fire
insurance.
Dave Towers reported to the Council on a certain parcel of land which
the Airport had intended to bargain for. H~ stated that the property Baas no longer for sale.
The Mayor repert~d that Patrolman Baillet was resigning from the Polies
Depax°tm~nt ~ff~etive February 9th, i9bi~~ and st~.ted that h~ had a better fob with

Creston presented a brochure of emblems and badges to be worn Frith po-

on the efficiency and econo~ay of the City of La~zrel Hs then appointed Pal. a~

that the office ford shall not under any eirctamstane~~ take park payment of a

Motion was made by Ruff and ~etconded by G~.a~ that the Council ree~mmend they 7-
light propo~al.~ but that th~~e proposal; should be presented to the School Board and the ComnciZ to go along w3.~Gh their r~co~nmendation. Seeond~d by Gays. Motion
carried. Thy que~tiAn of setting up a lighting district way brought up.
There being no further busir~ss to come before the council at th3.~ time
motion was duly made and seconded that the meeting be adjourned. Mod on carried.
