Dear Ms. Goldsby,

I received your letter dated December 7, 2021, in which you stated you wanted to remain
on the Laurel Urban Renewal Agency as a Commissioner. As stated in my letter, dated
November 9, 2021, a letter of interest must be submitted by November 30, 2021. Since
your letter was submitted after November 30, 2021, it is considered late and will not be
accepted. The process of filing the vacancy has already begun.
Also, per MCA Section 7-15-4234(5), and LMC 20.02.030, a commissioner must
maintain residency within the city limits. Based on the location of your home it appears
you are not residing within the limits of the City of Laurel and thus you are not qualified
to serve as a commissioner on the Urban Renewal Agency.
