Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman John Smith.
Members present ; Bill Brennan and Roy Zahm
~uests present ; Frank Felke and Jim Roberts
Minutes of the previous were approved as read.
Bills presented were ;
Interstate Engineering services $ 7,750.00
H.K.M. E~gineering final payment $ 6,660.00
Yellowstone Valley Electric power for Jan. $ 86.15
Moved by Brennan , seconded by Zattm to pay bills. Passed.
A representative from Morrison ,Mairle gave us a copy of a report for
the State concerning land use and zoning. We will review , correct , and
update and return to State..
Chairman Smith and Roy Zahm met with two attorneys in order to select one
for land acquisition and possible condemnation proceedings. It could cost
up to $ 60.000 each for all parties concerned.We selected Ken Peterson
on the basis of his previous e~xperience. We will get a guaranteed maximum
fee quote from him.
Moved by Zahm and seconded by Brennan t0 authorize Chairman Smith to
write a letter of final offer to the three involved landowners.
The F.A.A.has requested that we provide them with a list of all planes
( N numbers , makes, and models ).Frank Felke and Bob Western will handle it.
There are still a couple of individuals who aren't paying thier tiedown fees.
We will discuss it with our attorney.
Bob Felt's hangar is shedding roofing in the wind . We will contact him and
advise him of the situation.
Jim Roberts ,M.P.A. Chapter president , requested permission to hold a
Fly-In here on Sept. 6 and 7 . Permission w~s granted.
We are planning on burning the weeds at the Airport this Spring with the
assistance of volunteers.We will contact the Laurel Fire Department and see
if they would like to participate.
