Thy M~.~or announced the annual Montana Mu~.icipal L~agu~ meetira~ to be held in Roundup, Ntor~tana, 5~p~~~ber 8, 9, and 10~h~' and reque~t~d permiffision for ~h~ City Clerk and himself to attend this meting. Motion way made by Qas~ and seconded by Yovetich that permi~~ion be granted. Motion carried. It was al€~o sug~~sted that Ken Olson be allowed to attend if possible. Mrs. Edna ~Chap~an, chairman of the Library Boarei appeared before the ~oun.cil to make a resport on ~ b0okmobil~, and var3.ous other m~.tter~. Thy Mayor thin stated that h~ wanted to commend the Library Board for da3. a very good. fob of running the Library. Minutes of the City Council of Laurel Ater discussion, motion w~.~ made by Yov~tich and sascond~d by Bradford that the recomonendation~ of the Library Board be approved. H~ was referred to Merritt Till amffi who handles the pity Liability insurances . Yov~tich reported that he had had several calls eomplai~.n~ that ~h~ Garbage Truck picks up the Q~,rbage for the churela~~ 3ust at the time there are funrier~ls doing on, and that sometimes the services would have tc~ b~ nai~~a until the truck went by. Yavetich asked if it ~rot~ld b~ permis~able t4 locate a sign br? city property directing per~r~n~ to church. Yovetich also reported on the Fox Ditch problem. Edward reported on Kiwani~ Parka. Bradford asked whether or not the ~arb~.~e min were obligated to empty the burning barrels now that there are three men on the truck. He was i.n~ormed that the r~~n were not s~ppo~ed to empty these.
