A card was re~.ci from a satisfied patron of the Riverside Park camping
facilities.
A saleffiman a~p~ared before the Got~ncil with a demontstratio~ of ~rt~in
~igne which h~ hoped to s~Zl ~o the business p~r~oM~ of Latarel.
Black stated ghat he wo~1d like to have this matter referred to a eo~r~mi.ttee with authority to act. 41~on then appointed B1sc1€, Bradford and Yov~etch to this
committe~? ~rh~~sh men would repr~;sent the street ~ommi~tee, the pol3.ce eo itt~e and
the Co~n.cil. Ho~v~r, ~.f~er di~cu~sion, ffiinc~ the city would not be obligated in
arty way, motion was made by Bradford and seconded by Ka3~er th~.t the City would go
ahead and install the signs if they mere purehaged by business people, provided the ~tal~sman would purchase busai~es~ license. Motion parried.

Bradforel reported that the ~ad~.c operators should al~ao r~~eiv+~ tYae

to t~i~ eff~at b~* Ya~ti~h ~xad seconded by Bradford. lotion csarried.
Bradford brought ~p the sub~eet of a traff e light. Blaek atat~s that

Olson st~t~d that he would 1ik~ to appoint tk~~ police ec~mmitt~e to
look into the m~.tter of ~n r~ir conditioner for the police department. Bradford
r~port~d on the ~~il e 11 problem. He ~t~tes ~h~t an exhaust f~.n was needed in the Bella. Olson turned this matter wear to the paliee co~mi.ttee~.
Edwards reported a arair~age problem on the ao~a~h ~id~. C3.ty Ong ~e~r
r~port~d on this also.
Black r~por~ed that i.t was more or 1e~s the opinion of the Ccun~ l
t~a~ the man at the sanitary land fi11 reeei~r~ ~25.~Q per month, for faking care oP ~hi~ sits. Black made this ire the form of a motioM, ~~eond~d by Bradford
and the motion ~~ried. This fee to begin August 1,, I966, and b~ paid by ela~.ra.
Kaiser stated that there ~ an autsid~ to3.1~t on the youth side th~.t
i~ sti1.1 being used. This matter ref'~rred to the police committee to inform the
police that ~hi~ mint b~ removed, and filled in.
Daley reported oM the petitions on the water r~~ervra~r band 3.~~ne
situation.
