June 24 , 1997
The mmeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman John Smith.
M~mbers present were ; Roy Zahm , Bob Western , Bob Spannagle , and Bill Brennan
Guests present were ; Kent Potter,Jim Roberts,John Ostlund,and Craig Canfield.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.

Moved by Brennan,seconded by Zahm to pay bills.Approved.
Craig Canfield of Interstate Engineering , reported on land acquisition.
Met with Dan Ruff.He wants $2,500 per acre and a 30 year lease.
Moved by Western,seconded by Brennan,to offer Ruff a minimum of $ 2,00 per acre
or whatever the condemnation proceedings decide on other properties and a t~nty
year lease.We will offer him $500 per year for an option to purchase contingent
on acquiring the other properties.If costs are too high we will acquire avigation
easement only for atotal of $1,200 plus purchase ½ acre instead. Motion passed.
Will submit to Petersen for rewriting and approval.
We are seeking approval by the F,A.A. , and any other concerned governing bodies
concerning the leasing of lots north of Big Sky Aviation for light industrial
businesses.
The tractor is running again.
Haying at the Airport will proceed within the next couple of weeks.
M.P.A.Fly in will be at Laurel September 4th,5th.and 6th.
