A Special meeting of -the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
was held in the Council Chamber , and was called to order by Mayor Kenneth E.
Olson, ~t 7a(?4 otclock, P.M.~ on Tuesdays November 1~., 1967.
Upan taking roll call, the ~ollow3ng Aldermen answered present:
Gerald Gays Roy Edwards Walter Parker Richard Black
Louis Ycv~;tieh Roy Horning E. H. Ebersvill~r, sr.
This special meeting was called for the specific purpose of luting the contracts on the bids for can~trueticsn purposes a~ the Airport.
Several persons reported on th~;se bids. It was discussed that them
was not sufficient budget far this construction, due to the ~a.ct that the bids
went higher than expected.
Motion was m~.de by Black and seconded by Ebersviller that a perpetual
easement be obtained. Motion carried.
After more discussion, motion was made by Black and seconded by
Ebersviller that the contract ~e awarded to C. L. Adams Rc Sons for the construction
cantained in S~hedul~ #1, and to Walter Mackin & Sons for the construction contained in Schedule #2, pending the approval of the F.A.A.. Motion carried.
There being no further busin~~s to come before the Council and the
Airport Commission at this time, motion was duly made and seconded that the
meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.
