A Speei~.l meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
way held in the Council Chambers and was called to order by Mayor K~;r~neth
Dlson, at 7:3~ o~clock, P.M., on Thursday, A~gu~t 3, 1967.
Upon tak3.ri~ roll call, the fallowing Aldermen a~nsw~red present;

I~ was d~.seussed that they tires on a fire truer could b~ sold to the
Garbage Department and the Fire Department could buy new ones. Place this
matter on budget.
Z~ was discussed that since the l~~y on Light ~2 had nat b~~n rai~~:d since 195 , that the a~sessm~nt was not taking care 4f the expend3~~as on the
Light Di~triet. Motion was made by Gass and ~econd~d by Ebersviiler that the
assessment be rasied by 25~ which would be to chmnge the 68¢ per lot a~se~sment
to 8~¢, ~.nd the ~0¢ assessment to x+1.00. This to be done im~n~diat~ly. Motion
carri~%~~ with the augg~stion that Light #1 also be re-~.ss~s~ed during the
winter.

'3'he preceding resolution was introduced by Alderman Southwortfi, who
moved 3tffi adoption, and seconded by Ald~r~nan Gays, and passed bar the City Co~zncil
of the City of Laurels Montana.
There being no further business to some befar~ the Coune3.1 at ~hi~
~es~ion, motion eras duly made and ~~conded that the meting be adjoined. Motion carried.
