way made by Eb~r~svill.er and seconded by G~,s~ that th~~ request be approved.
Motion carried.
TMe Mayor ~t~t~d ~nor~ emmplaints on the Assembly of God church. After diseuasion, ~aot3o~ was made by ~ber~viller, s~cor~ded by f~a~$ that the
~i.ty Clerk inform the Church Group that the Cc~uneil had declared this
property a n~isan~~~ and that this property must be c1Aan~d up within 30
d~.y~, or the City crews will tear down this building and the char~~as wi11
b~ placed on tt~e taxes. Motion earr~ed.
Thy Mayor stated that there were several prop~rti~s n~edin~ weed
clears ups. It w~.~ d~eided to give Gity Engitte~r anal pity Attorney more
time.

Thy Mayor reported that the finance eommi~te~ and himself hid. mgt
with the Library Bo~.rd to hear about the new laws. He ~~~.t~d that the b~dg~t
will be presented at the next meting.

Southworth reported that the Swimming pool gill b~ kept open
the last week of Au~u.st groin ~t P.M. on, and X11 day over the Labor Day
week-end.

Ba~.ie~ and Hedstrom for their quick ~,etian ire s~.vi the life of the homer
boy ~t the pool. After comment, motion was made by Yaveti~h and secpnded
by ~b~r~viller that letter be writtesn to these yotan~ people. Thy Mayor
_ intends to give them more formal credit at a later date.
Gaston app~;ar~d before the Council and asked pernli~sic~n to leave
the St~t~. Motion was made b~ Eb~r~viZler and seconded by Gass that
p~rmi~sion b~ granted. ~Igtion carried.
Gass asked permission to leave the State. Motion made bg Yovetich
grid s~cend~d by Bla.ek that perrais~io~ be granted. Motion carried.

Fb~rsvill~r stated that h~ felt the City was far tmo low on ffialari~s for the polio department. H~ also t~~ntioned the pos~ibiliti~s og raising
the sala.rie~ .for the Mayor d the Aldermen. 'The Mayor then turned this
matter over to the Labor Com~nitt~e.
