A Special meeting of the City ~uneil of the City of I,aurel~ Montana
was held in the Co~~cil Chambers and was e~ll~d to order by M~.yor K~inneth pl~on, at 7x30 a~clock~ P.M., on Wednesday, July 1967.
Upon taking ro11 call, the following Ald~r~n~n answered present:.

Rod Horning E. H. Ebersv3.Zler James Southworth
~'hi~ meeting was called for the piarpo~s~ of op~~ing bids as advertised
for the gale of ~2~,0~0.00 i~ bonds for the construetion of Special Tmprov~ment
District No. 93 bond.
ft. Stevexis and B. Meyer Harr3.~ appeared before the Co~nc31 with an
oral bid, accompanied bar a eh~dk in the amoUrit of ~~~~00.00, and offerred 6~ interest with the Cit~* t~~in~ on ~h~ ~xpens~ of the printing of the bond . Motion
was made by ~b~r~vill~r grid ~~cond~d by Black that we take phis bid undesr
sidvi~em~nt t~mporar3ly. Mot3.on carried.
After discu.~~inn during which time, the B~.nk officers refused to
negotiate at a le~s~r rate, ~ot3on was made b~ Yvvetiah and ~econc~ed by South~rorth that the bid be rejected. Motion carried. The Mayor then appointed
the finance committee and h~, stre~~ end alley committee to try to negotiate a
private sa1~.
