Motion was made by Blaek and seconded by Ebersvill~r th~.t ~he~~ claims b~
allor~~?d. Metion carried.
Olson stated that h~ and Gasp would be absent frc~n the City from
~Tedn~~day night through Sunday.
Thy Mayor stated that ~ir~ce J. H~ebner~s term on the ~onin~ Board
o~ Ad~ustm~nt would be up on J~.1~ 1, 196 ,end he did not wish to be r~- appointed, he would like to appoint `~~d ehriaon to this Board for three-year
term. Motion was made by Black and seen ed by aa~~ that this appointment be
approved. Motion carried, and it was suggested that the City Clerk write a
l~tt~r of appreciation to Mr. Heebner.
The Mayor steed that he would ~.ppoint another eo~mittee to work on they Gable V. qu~~tion after the heavy work is done. Possibly around the
fir$t of August.
- Yc~vetieh stated that a letter should b~ written to the Bo~.rd of County
~ommissianers remind.in~ tY~is board that Laurel w~~ still int~rest~d 3.n having
some t;our~t~ p~r~onnel~_in Lapel to sell Motor Vehio7.~ lic~nse~ tM.i~ next year.
Tt w~.s ~ug~e~ted that ,bill b~ ~~nt to ~ah~ ~heriff~~ office r~gard3Ag
space in the police station for deputies.
Parker reported on the five-,year-old st~.tement ~o the Schools in
regard ~o the Athletic Park Liter, and it way suggested that a regular annual
fey be charged to the Schools ra-~her than the actual cost of the lights plug maintenance. A figure of ~250.~0 annually w~~ suggested.
Eb~rsvill~r brought np the ~ub3~:at of cutting we~d~ on private
property. Olson stated that he would turn this utter over to the ~tr~at aid
~11~y committee.

this question back to the committee.
South*,~orth reported certain ob~~etions to a~ building berg ~r~c~~d
on School property. This permit ~t~.~ begin i~€su~d, ar~d it ~r~.s the decision of
the Gc>iancil that this would not be an eye-yore, b~.t would b~ a nice looking building.
City ~ngiMeer asked permi~~ion of tie Council to put the ~tr~et
materials out for bids. Motion ~a~~ made b~ Black and ~econd~d by Yov~~ich
that this b~± dons. Motion carried.
Yove~ieh ~~at~d that he objected to Y~l.lowstone County putting money
into the Billings City Airport. It was su~;g~sted th~.t the memb~r~ of the L~.~a.r~l
Airport Cc>mmiasian attend a meeting of the Coun~y Cc~r~mi~~ion~rs vn this qu~~tion.

Park, the Mayor appointed the Park aid the Water Cornmitt~~s~ ~o work out ~om~thin~
