Certain r~port~ of the Cite of Laur~1 were pr~as~nt~d for appr~v~,1 as follows Report of the Polies Judge and ~h~ reports of the Patrolmen. Motion was made by Edwards and s~cond~d by C~~.~s that the~~ repor~~ b~ approved. Motion carried. H~a1th O~fic~r~~ Report and Library Reports were presented. Motion was made by Ebersviller and ~ecanded by So~thworth that the~E r~porta bey approved. Motion carried. A litter from J~rr~ ~C Nita Cantrell regarding his bog ~'~l.lir~g on the ter~ni~ court and g~ttin~ ~~at. ~'ll~ Mayor stated that this matter b~ referred to our insurance company. A phoned message from the office of L. R. The M~.yor annour~c~d the r~si~n~.t3.o~ o~ P. A. Johnston, `ram ~h~ ~pn3.ng Board, and asked the approval of the Co~ne3.l to n~.ra~a ~eorg~ Pri11 to fill the vacancy until July 1, 196. Motion way made by ~b~rsviller acid seconded by ~ovetieh that the appointment be approved. Motion carried and Yovetieh made the motion that th~a City Clerk writs a le~~er cif' ~ppreci~.tion to Mr. Joliriston. Seconded bar Farker and the motion cs~rried. Minutes of the City Council of Laurel Thy Mayor repa~~ted some o~ the Gas Comp~an~r~s tr~nehes wire sinking. Thy Mayor also r~port~d ors the W~.ter R~$ervoir Gr~.nt. After discussion motion was mad~± by Ebersviller aid seconded by Yovetiel~ that the Council accept the adv~ar~~ committee report.. ~'he Mayor called for a ro11 call vote. Vote berg four to three in favor, the motion carried. Parker reported on a me~tin~ with Yeager ~.nd t~appelma~ who ~ta~ed that the School wo~.1d go ~1ong in tY~e amount of ~7~4.0~ to re-finish the tennis eourt~. Parkr~r ~tat~d that he would like to accept the offer. Motion was made by Eber~vill~r and seconded by Yovetich that the ~70~.~0 bps ~c~ept~d From the school for this purpose. Mo~Gion carried. P~rk~r suggested plant mix for the purpose. Parker reported that the G~~ Company ditch i~ settling on Date Avg. He alos reported on sidewalks.
