RESOLUTION NO. R21-78 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE PREVIOUSLY APPROVED TASK ORDER BETWEEN THE CITY OF LAUREL AND KLJ ENGINEERING INC. AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR ADDITIONAL ENGINNEERING FOR THE 5TH AVENUE WATER MAIN RE-ROUTE PROJECT. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana: Section 1: Approval. The Amendment to Task Order for the 51h Avenue Water between the Parties is attached hereto and incorporated herein as part of this resolution and is accepted and hereby approved by the City Council. Section 2: Execution. The Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer of the City of Laurel are hereby given authority to accept and execute the attached Task Order on behalf of the City. Section 3: Effective date. The effective date for the Task Order is upon adoption and approval of this resolution. Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on August 24, 2021, by Council Member Sparks. PASSED and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Laurel this 24th day of August 2021. Description of Modifications January 26, 2021 City of Laurel KU Engineering, Inc. 51h Ave Water Main Reroute Add: Approximately 650 lineal feet from 4th Street to 75 feet past Valley Drive to the project extents. A. Engineer shall perform the following Additional Services: a. Design, bidding, construction inspection, construction surveying, and construction administration of additional street reconstruction B. The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by Engineer in accordance with the Task Order and previous amendments, if any, is modified as follows: N/A C. The responsibilities of Owner with respect to the Task Order are modified as follows: N/A D.
