Certain reports of the +C3.ty of L~.~.re1 were pre~~nted for approval,
a~ ~ollowss City `1'~easurer~a Report, City Clerkf~ Tri~.l balance, City Cle~kts
~.sh Report. Motion was made by Olson and ~~¢ond~d by Edwards that tMe~e
reports be ~pprov~d. Motion carried.
A letter was read from Senator Lee Metcalf, ~.s ~ollow~s
Dear Mayor Be~lanw3.tch:
Thank you ~'cr your letter of Jan~ary~10 regarding the application of
the Cit~r of Laurel for a reservoir gran.
Z sha~.l continue to keep in touch with the Se~.ttle office o~ HU~3 on
this matter, and will urge prompt consid~r~.tion of the application whin 3t i~
made. I hope yon w3.11 continue to keep m~: advised.

Gfiief o~ Police and investigate this matter.
City Attorney Bradley and Alderman Gass reported on the matter ~f the
ptard~.sc~ of e~r~ain lots ~"rom the bank ~.t Red I;odg~. Nothing defin~.te ~,s yet.

~1~on reported on the Riverside Park Grants as~.d sated that this was
unoP~icial but that w~ probably would ~~t the ~mney, but mot until after the first of Jul~r, 1967.
In the matter of electing an Ald~r~an From the Fo~artl~ Ward to f3.11
the unex€~ired term of Dam Bradford, who resigned, Parlor namin~t~d Ce~3.1 ~tav~
and Rod Horning. Ballots were pas4ed, with the Ma~ror appaintin~ the City
Engineer and City Attorr~~±y as teller. Canvass of tY~~ ballots n~n~.d Rod Horning. Parker then made the motion, sec~nd~d by Black that Horni~~ be elected
