City Attorney, tom Brad3~y, ~tat~d that ~i~ h~.d talked w3.th Merritt
Williams and the Fi.r~men have no aolliasion cov~r~.ge and enly ae~ondary liability under the present poli~~ with the City. H~ added that the ~'iremen'~ cam
insurance would have to cover hi.in.

see~nded by B1aak that Cjrdinance No. ~8~. and ~Jrdinance No. ~8~ be adopted. Upan taking a rill ea21 vote, all Aldermen:present answered "Aye" and ~~id
4rdinan~es were declared passed and ~.dopted. Mr~tion carri8d.
Daley reported on proposed action tal~en at a Zoning Board M~et~ing.

The Mayor stated there have been many camplaints about the weeds at
the old Assembly off' God ~hureh site. After d3scussion~ Gass ~~~.~ed he would
ta11c to the Minister and ask that they be el~aned up.

It wa,~ the opinion of the Council that a street light w~u1d be best. Thy Mayor
~.x~~o3.nted the Police Gommit~~e and the ~'i.nance ~da~mittee to ~tud~ the mater ~g
to the cost and possibility of purehasin~ and in ~tall3.ng an oa~;r-h~~.d stop
light.
Gays and the Mayor reported on the Montana Municipal Leagu~:~e~ting
in Bute.
It w~.s mentioned that the Ja~ee~ are going to purchase new trash
cans for Main Strut.
Black reported there is td be Planning Board Meeting in Bozeman
September ~7 & ~8. Motion way made by Southworth and secand~d by Eb~rsviller
that tiro members be allowed to attend. Motion carried.
Dal~~ ~tat~d the reservoir is in the process of being used.
Southworth made the motion and Par~Cer seconded that the Jaycees be
written a I~tt,er o~ commendation for the job they did on the Eomrnuni.ty Audit.
Motion carried.
Eb~rs~ri.ll~r pna.de the motion that the College ~tud~nts working for the
Ci~y~ be given a 2~~ ~.n hour bonus provided they have completed the ~umrner
programed work schedule. Parker seconded and the motion carried.
The Mayor Mated that Pete Thomson is doing to pub ~n new ~idewal~C in
grant of the Retired ~l~zb ~.t Fireman's Paxk.
