A special m~s~ting o~ the City Council of the City of Laurel, Mont~na~
was held in the Water Q~'fice, and way called to order by Mayor Kenneth E. Olson, ~t 7s°00 o'clock, P.M. on Thursday, July 11, 1968.

The purpose of this meeting ~ra5 to discus the preliminary budget for
the fiscal ~r~ar 1968-1969.
After reviewing the Cash Report, the following resolution eras ~uggest~d.
That a resolution of transfer of funds in the amount of '~S,OO~.flO from. the Park Funds to the swimming Pool Fund. Motion way made by Parker and seconded by
Southworth that the Resolution b~ written. Mo~3on carried.
There was di~cu~sion in re~~rd ~o the charges made by the City of
La~zrel, to the users of the Athletic Park Lights. The Mayor suggested that this
s3tus~~bn be revi~:w~d with the Park Committee and the School Board again after
this next Football Season.
Certain pieces ;of equipment were diseus~~d. David Cowger has two
pi~ce~ of this equipment that the C3.t~ mad be ~bl~ to use. Yoveti~h to discuss
Brice with 0a~r~;er.
Yovetich ~ugge~ted budgeting X00.40 for a s~orrr? drain study firm the
Highwaiy to the River.
It way sug~~~ted that Frank Grabus'~ fees be raised from X25.00 per
month to ~75.~ per month.
Discussion regarding acoin-operated Water Pump for the Farmer's water.
There being no ~u.rther bus3.ne~s to come before the Council ~t~~this
time, motion was duly made and seconded that the meeting be ad3ourned until
the next budget meeting, to be held July 18, 1968. Notion carried.
