Olson, at 7:3~ Ofelock, P.I., en ~uesda~, March 5, i~68.

The minutes of the previous meting were read. Aft@r a correction
regarding tk~~s purchase of pipe was m~d~, motion was made by Ebersviller and
seconded by 331acis ghat the minutes be approved ~s read. Motion carried.
Polio reports for January, 1968 were presented, ~otiesn way made by Horning and seconded by Gays that the ~a~por~t~ 'b~ a,~spr~ved. Motion parried.
Po3.ic~ repots for F€:bruary, 1968 Va~;re pre~~nt~d. Motion was made by
Horning ar~d seconded by Gags that the repcsrts be approved. Motion carried.
Motion was made bar Gass and seeanded b~ Black that the Library report be approved. Motion ~arri~d.

Bradley reported on a possible double assessment for Garbage, Insect
Control and Lights on newly acquired properly, the first y~,ar.
Much discussion regarding the building o~ s~dc~~ralks, curbs, and
gutters, streets and alleys.

paid under protest. If the new regulations ire changed in the future Z
understand S co~.ld get a refund. I hate to pay this at this ~im~ as Z may
not be ably to b~ open another month. I cannot operate without an a~dienee.
I mentioned to Mr. Blaek that I would like~.tr~ be a member working
an the committee for new regulations. ~~1e have women who operate business~~
and T feel I am more diversified than any' of the others, and the ~romen should
have a representation. Someone said Itd have to be a Chamber Member. But
this is pressure and should have nothing to do with seclecting a committee,
and whether we are Chamber Memsber or not we are still bu~in~~se~ in this town and are being billed for our licenses. So, I would like to be considered.

Black and seconded. by Yovetich that permi~~it~n be granted. Motion carried.
Bradley reported on the summons restraining the City from .pro~ecutir~g
any persons r~c~n.tly billed for licenses. It was discu~~ed as to getting a
deadline for the payment of licences billed before the first of the year. After a ~0-minute discussion motion was ~nad~ by Yov~tieh and seconded by Black that
Laurel wait on the lie~nse situation until such time a.s the suit pending in
Billings has been settled. one way or the other. Motion carried.
Yoveti~h reported on the: empty builelings in town.
~'ichtn~r states that he pays ~319.~~ per y~ar° for garbage. City Clerk
to check on this.
Yovetich commented on the water reservoir.
Utter of resignation from Ernie b'og~lpohl was presented. Motion was
duly made and seconded that this resignation bc~ accepted. ,Motion carried.
Black stated that the auxiliary police should be given a pat on the back for the good fob they have been doing, and Mated that a letter be written
to the a~u~tiliary to this ~gfect, to Dick Roach as secretary. Motion way made
~o this e~f~et by Black end ~eeonded by Ebersvill~r, Motion carried.

The M~.yor then turned this m~.tter over to the present City-bounty Planning
Board for discussion and r~co~runenclation. Much di~cu~sion about this matter and
Bradley reported. It wa,s su~gest~d that everything that i~ ne~d~d to complete this transaction be prepared and presented. to the Council at the next meting,
and then sent by r~gi~tered mails since this work has all been clone; before.
Southworth asked Braelle~r how to go .bout anns:xing an aria into the
City limits. Bradley reported on this.
Discussion about water pipe. Daly to check on this a little further.
Yovetich stated that a trailer house for the custodian of the sanitary
land fill should be purchased.
There being no further business to comp '~~~ore the council at this dine, motion was dull made and seconded that the meeting b~ ad~ourn~d. Motion
carried.
