Dave Murray appeaired before the council to ask for a report of
the Zoning-Board regarding his reque.~t for an opinion on the ~onin~ of
Blocky One, Two and Three of the Mountain Vita ~ubdivi~ion. Daley presented i an opinion ~o the council as follow : Thy Zoning Board recomm~nd~ that
Blocky l~ 2,, & 3, of Moumtain Vista Subdivision be put in a Special vari.anae
of Rl Zone ~.11c~wing Duplexes, but otherwise Rl. laws prevail with 8.00

recommendation of the Zoning Board be adopted. After comments frarn
sever~.l individuals, Ebersvi.ller withdrew hip rr~otion, Beslanw~.tch with-
drew his second,. since them had not yet begin a vote. ThE~a a motion
was made by Yove~ich and seconded by Jones that this utter be turned over to the Zoning Board to call a s~e~ial meting. Thy Zonir~~ Board called
their last meeting at the home of one member Qf the Board since this member
had dust been released fros~ the Hospital and was not able ~,o attend other-
wi~e. Motion carried.
Mr. Caton, and Mr. & Mrs. Glen Watts app~:ared before the ~ouneil
regarding a dispute over tapping a cert~.in water line on siacth and Hazel
Avenue. After much di~eussion the Mayor turned this matter aver to the
Water committee and the Fourth Ward A1d~rmen to some up with a reco~nendation
at the next meeting.
Jay Ifaiserman appeared before the Council and asked if them was any mone~r fox Bas~:ba11 supplies from the Park Recreation Find this year.
He was told there was $500.00 budget and money both available, provided
this i~ used by the 3~h of Jung. He requested an extra $100.~U and the
park committee and. budget committee are going to consider this request.
Mr. Harald Collins, Chief of the Auxiliary Polies requested approval
for two men for this ford:, M~1 Biker and Jim Redman. Motion way made by Eb~rsviller and seconded by Walt ?'ark~r that this r~comm~ndatioM be aec~pted.

BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ~ P~RTIDN OF CHAPTER XVI OF THE REVT~~D
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF T~UREL, i96i, REGARDING AI~TMALS, be amended ~,nd
read a~ follows:
It shall be the duty of the dog warder of paid City to impound the following d.og~:
1. Every unlicesns~d male or female doh, whether on the pr~mi~~~
of the owner or ofd.
2. Any dog upon the school grounds or public parks of the City, whether lieen~ed or unlisc~ns~d, whether under the control
of the owner or not.
3. eery doh off the premises of the owner, unless the ssm~ 'fie
- under' ~h~".1e~.sh:'and~ control'~of a co~pe~ent person.
That ~~ction (9b) of paid ordinance, shall be, and the game is herby deleted and amended to read as follows:
It shall be the duty of all dog owners to keep their dog upon their
own prem.i~es at all times unless it ~;ha11 be under the le~,$h and ccmtrol
of a competent person.

City En~ine~r stated that Joe: Nicholas h.ad changed hip m3.nd about
~ivin~ up the job of plumbing inspector. Horning 'stated that he had had
complaints that the plumbing ir~spe~tions were not too s~,tia~aetory since our in~p~ctor way not a lieen~~d plumber.
J~.ek Parlor submitted an idea of an em~r~~ney vehicle, the eo~t of
which could probable be shared by other individuals anc3, companies other than
the city. Since this project has been given preliminary study in the past,
the Mayor appointed Jackson Parker and J. Be~lanwitch a~ a committee to try to come up with a possible workable solution.

After discussion into the garb~g~ situation, W. Parlor recornmend~d '
th~.t the Garba~~ ~l assessment b~; r~3.s~d .for this coming year, and I,
garbage ,~2 as~essm~nt be raised X096. Motion was then ~3ade by Jones and
seconded by Parker that the recommendation of this committee be aec~pted.

Yovetieh reported on the rni,.scellan~ou~ w~.t~r miter.
Yovetich also reported that some persons were shooting bird.
He reported that the Br~,y~s could use their road now. i
He also complimented the City En~in~er, and told the council ~.nd i
partioularly the labor comm3.tt~e that he should b~ considered for a
considerable 3.ncr~ase in salar~r.
City Engineer reported on the proposed storm ~ew~r ~tudy~ and asked
the pa~~age of Resolution No. 1359.

RESOLUTION N0. 13 '9 being a resolution authorising the Mayor and
City Clerk to sign X11 the necessary papery and applications in eonn~c~ion
~r3.~h requesting a grant for this study way presented. Motion way made by J~.~k Parker and seconded by Ebersviller that this resolution be passed aid
adopted. Motion carried.
The Mater suggested that the Water Gamm3.tt~~ begin their study ~o
raise ~h~ rates og they water users who live outside the city limit, sine
they pay no mi11 levy toward the payment of bonds and coupons due on the Water Re$ervoir.
