A ~peeia~. meting of the City Council off' the pity of L~.urel, Monta~a~, was held in the Council Chamb~r~, and was called to order by
M~.yQr Kenneth E. Olson at 6:Q0 o~clock, P.M., on Monday, ~.pril 28, 1g69.
Upon taking roll call.,, the foZlc~wing aldermen ~.nswered pr~~ents

I This ~e~?ting was c~.lled for the purpose of disau~~ing a dog
leash ordinance. This mater wag turned over ~o the Pol3.c~ anel Fire
Committee, to reps~rt at tie next regular ~etin~. I~ the ~ne~,n~ime, ~
a mot3.on was made by Parker and seconded b~ Jones that ~.n ir~usediate quarantine be plaQed on dogs, effective Monday, May 5th, 1969. Dogs to
be kept und~;r control at all ~ime,~, until a leash law ordin~.nee is e#.ther
p~.s~~d or re,jec~ed. Motion carried.
