Fbersvillc~r, Sr. ' John ~3eslanwitch 1r1a1~ Parker Louie Yovetich Thy; minutes of the previous aneetin~; were read. Motion was made by Beslan~ritah and seconded b~ Jones that the minutes be approved as read. Motion carried. ` An ap~?ic~.tion for beer license was presPnt~d 'ram Barbers with a r' chick of ~7~.Ofl attac:r~ed. Motion was made by t~Jalt Parker and seconded by Ebersva_11Pr that this b~ accepted. Motion carried. Cit~r Treasurers financial report, City Clerks cash report, and City } Clerks trial balance were presented for approval. Motion was made by Ebersvill~r and seconded by Beslanwitch that these reports be approved.. Motion carr3.ed. j I~?ayor announced that Friday December 26, has been declared a holiday for all Ci~~r, State, and County employees. He sta~~d that the City should ret~.zn enou~*h men from the g~r~age committee to work t~+.at day and these men would the fc~llow~.ng Fridays January 2, off. Motion was made by Yovetieh and seconded ley Ebersvillpr that this be ~.ecepted, l~'Iatic~n c~+.rried. Maxtor a.rsnounc~d that James .Kucera Sr. ha.s been appointed. to the ' Cemetery ?ioaxd to fill the ~nexbired term o~ C. ~n~. Laird. Motion way made by Beslanwi-~ch and Seconded by Ebersviller that this appaintmant be accepted. Motion carr med. k 1' Mayor Mated that the poles at Athletic Park have be€~n .fixed. Yovetich reported some facts ~xzd figures on a study made on t,h~ ~;arb~~P rats. Yovetich to simplify his report and have. it published in the , Outlook. - Yc~vetich su~~ested having water meters for the entire town. Beslanwitch stated ghat thi4 matter hac3 been brought up earlier, and the m~~brs along wo~zld cosh around X75, 000.00 Nothing decided ors this m~.tter. Jim 'C~1lison anal Left~r :~~~rns appeared before the council to ask if the Jaycees could. use the ha11 at. Riverside Park as a meeting; place. 'the Jaycees to meet with the Park Committe€;. r. ~f H~.rold. Easton asked ~aerm~.~~.ion to leave the state. Motion w~,s made b~ ?~eslanwitch and seconded by Jackson Parker that permission be gra~hted. Motion carried. Jim Huff appeared main before thQ council with figures he:}had received fresm the County on the ~?wI Cafe & Thri.fi'tw~.ys. He stated, that ~h~ figures he had received from Beslanwitcl~ were incorrect.
