Olson, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Tuesda~r, Nov~mb~r 1969. l C Upon taking roll call the following alderm~±n answered present: ~7 i Roy Horning Jackson Parker Lyle Janes E. H. Ebersv~i.ller, Sr. k; John BesTanwitch Lour Yovitich Minutes of the previous meting off' October 21, wire read. Motion r was made by Beslanwitch and seeond~d b~ Horning that the minutes b~ approved a~ read. Motion carried. Certain reports of the City of Laurel, Montana, wire presented for approval as f'ollo~rs : Library report, Police Jude report, and the reports of the Patrolmen. Motion was made by Eb~rsviller and s~cond~d bar Horning that these reports be approved. Motion carried. l Claims for the month of October were ~aresented .for approval. Co. is ~oin~ to resume the resonsibili~y I for the broken sPw~r line. a !i A l~;ttc~r was read from Jim Huff requesting the taxes o~ the awl I II Cafp. City Clerk stated t~.at nothing has been dons a.s yat because the City mp_ o„roes have not had t};e time to look them up. I Rudy Phillips a:ppeaxed before the Council with an inquiry -on::his (r ~ar~age tax. f. Jim Huff appeared before the council with complaints about the ~ I garbage rates. Huff stated that he thou ht the garba.~e rates should be changed ~ so that ever one ~.id the same am Y P ount. After much d~.seussion the matter was t turned. over t o the strut and a~_le;y committee for further study,• Bob Parker appeared before the council to request permission to i erect a 'ono parking" sip~n in front of the the~.tre during a show or performane onl~r. This matter turned over to the b~lice committee. r Mayor Oran stated. that the Highway Safety Coorc~.inator called him and ~ r. the Hi~hwaY Safety grant has been approved as far as the board and the office will restud~T our a~plicati_on for federal approval. Olson tha~k~t~ Jackson Parker for the tremendous job he did in sub- mittin~ the apblication for the highway sa.~ety grant. Jones asked about the pedestrian s~_~ns on 1st ave. He stated. that II people were nbt 5tobpin~ for the pedestrians. Jim Hu£f stated that the slow sif7n on his property sP~ould be mav~d ! South to the ~aroperty line s~ it could be seen. Janes stated ghat something would have -~o bP done abo~.t the leatr:~s.
