Motion way made by Ebersv~.ller and second by Beslat~.tch ~t the minutes f be appproved a~ read. Motion earr3.ed. I++L~.nutes of the previous special meeting of August 6th wire read. Motion w~,s made by Ebe~rsviller and ~.~cond~d by Parlor that permiss3.o n be granted. Motion carried. one palic~ report way presented. Mot~.on was made by Ebersviller and seconded by Beslanwitch that the report be approved. Notion earr3.ed. j A Mr. Brent Cromley appeared before the council repr~g~nting Mrs. Gunter and family regarding a mobile homy to be moved ors to a lot on Hazel Ace. He stated that the Gunt~rs had pii~'chas~d the lot, had received permission from the Zoning Board, and had pureh~.~ed a permit, but had been prevented from moving the home on to the lot. After discussion, motion w~.~ made by Be~lanw~.teh and s~cond~d by Ebersviller that tY~e council ~o a1on~ with the Zoning Board's r~commenda~ion. There being only four aldermen voting on this issue, and Beslanwitch ~.nd Eb~rsviller goting ~~ye~~' and Parker and Y'ovctieh voting '~no'~, ~h~ 1~Iayor voted '~ye~« to break the ties since one.. df the absent ald~±rm~n had writt~ta approval. Yovetich wanted more study can this. The Mayor then appointed Ira D. Rodg~r~ to the vacancy on the zoning board created by the resignation o~ J. J. Parker, and asked council approval. Motion was made by Eber~viller and s~cond~:d by Beslanwitch that the j appointment be approved.n Motion parried. ~ Mr. Watts app~ar~d before the council to_ask that the City c3o something about building an alley on hip property. The T~Iayo~ recommended that the city go along with past policy, being for thy: city to do the blad n~ and furn3.~h the pit run gravel, and the property otan~r doing the balance. Thy council was in favor. Beslanw3.tch reported that persons hauling garbage to the dump north on first avenue were scattering garbage all over. Mayor ~1gon and Bradley both reported on this. Yovetich reported complaints on Fifth Street on the south side. City Engineer r~por~ed a meeting; with the Gas Company manager and that this would be taken care of soon. Yovetich reported that the Sprinkling job on Date Avenue w~.s bleeding. En~~.nee~ sated that this had been sanded. Yov~tich asked about the raisE for the outside water u~er~ to help pay for the new Water Reservoir. ~3.ty Clerk reported that the raise had begin granted. C~.ty Attorney stated that the users should be informed of the raise and the amaunt b~ letter with the n~~ water bill . Motion was made by Beslanwiteh and seconded by Eb~rsvill~r that the City-County Board be re-created. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the counc3.1 ~.t ttdis session, mot3.on was duly made and seconded that the meeting be adjourned.
