August 6, 1969
A ~.p~~ial meting of the City Council of the City of Laurel,
Mon~anai way held in the Council Chambers, and was called to order at
7:3fl o'elo~k, P.M., on Wedne~d.ay Au~u~t b, 1969.
Upon taking; roll c~.ll, the following aldermen answered pre~~nt:

This meting war c~.lled ~ccord3ng to law on the first Wednesday ~
of AuguG~ as per publieatic~n to hear and eon~~der any or all public prot~=t to the proposed mill levar and make whatever ehan~e~ n~ce~~ary in the
preliminary budget. Th~r~ being no protestors pre~en~ at thy! muting,
motion wat duly made ~.nd seconded that the budget remain tentative at 5
mills.
There being no fiarth~r business to eom~ before the council at phis
se•sion, motion was duly made and seconded ghat the meeting be ad~ourn~d until Monday evening, August 11th, at 7:30 o'clock, F.A. Motion parried.
